Toilet training really is as it suggests... training! The battle is waged by child and parent alike: gauntlets run with little hands tucked into bigger hands as both kick assorted toys aside to make it to that white throne in time. There have been accidents, yes. Wet puddles and little logs misplaced either inside the house,or out and in those moments we are thankful our floors are easy to clean.
Next week will be the beginning of her foray into big girl undies out of the house and we shall take that too in our stride. We are proud of everything she does, and I'm sure our neighbours look sideways when they hear us scream jovially, 'YAY RIO! PEE PEE IN THE POTTY!"
