The 'Greats'

My grandparents visited this weekend . They had wanted to see our humble abode for sometime so decided to take the trip - a nice break from ongoing renovations at their beautiful new Queenslander in Lowood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lowood,_Queensland).

Rio, who hasn't seen her great-grandparents in a month or so, greeted them like they visited everyday, running up to hug legs and tugging on shirts to clamber on knees. She enjoyed having new people to adorn her with lavish attention, batting eyelashes at compliments and blowing kisses. It was a short stay for them, and too short for us but nice nonetheless. And as always, it's sad saying goodbye. But, when you're left with two containers full of delicious, decadent sugary snacks, well, you've got something to keep you company at least!
