Home now, after a very special holiday away. So special, I was already planning the next trip up there as soon as we drove away from the camp site. But, home beckoned, the pull of a new working week beginning tomorrow for Papa and a few things that needed to be done at home beforehand. Rio has been enjoying copying household chores a lot lately. And yesterday, as her Papa washed his work truck I walked out to find the cutest scene ever: into the bucket she plunged her sponge, soaping it up with as many bubbles as she could. Then, though the sponge was heavy with water in her hands she carried it over to the truck, determined. On her tip-toes she stood as sponge hit metal and she began to clean her small piece of dirty truck.

My heart stopped, for that split second when your heart is already filled with so much love there's no room for anything else, so it just stops quickly to create some space. The sweetest scene between two of the sweetest people to me. Chores are always easier, when you have a little help.
