As the sun sets...

As the sun set today we spent time together. You and me. We splashed in the bucket full of water, and threw splashes at each other, and laughed. We listened to music and spun circles on the grass, kicking up our feet and singing nonsensical words. We chased after the cats as they bounded through the grass, and stalked the chickens as the scavenged for food.

Then, we lay on the rug stretched out, letting the small gusts of cool air rinse over us and I cuddled you close smelling the fresh air that hung in your hair. A perfect end, to a perfect day with my little babe.
