Pooped

Two days spent with our grumpy girl down at the Noosa river (http://www.visitnoosa.com.au/regions/noosaville). Our idea was to take her there so she could run, and play, and frolic amongst the waves and in turn, give us our sanity back (you can read about beautiful little devil here, should you wish: http://goo.gl/yadQiz). I guess what we didn't expect, the first day, was how much we too would enjoy being there. We have our lake, we LOVE our lake, but the Noosa river hustles and bustles with hundred of people daily. Jet skies whiz past with laughing couples showing off on it's back. Boats, with gleeful families slowly cruise past with kids helping steer the gigantic wheel. Joggers jog, toddlers toddle, fishermen fish. The place teems with life, energy, like a huge breath of fresh air. It really was refreshing. So we went back the second, to the exact spot; a couple of older ladies who had been there the Saturday sat there again, like they'd camped out the night. We barbequed sausages and Rio chased five-year-olds around the trees, hysterically laughing as she did, sounding like the sweetest monster ever to exist and making the boys run faster. A whole weekend spent happily in each others company, happily in the company of gorgeous surroundings. And, a very very sleepy little girl (phew!)
